BrightFest is an annual summer charity music festival in the beautiful village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell in Oxfordshire. BrightFest 20 was scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 6th, 2020.
Following government advice regarding COVID-19, the BrightFest Organising Committee (BOC) has decided to POSTPONE our beloved festival until Saturday, September 12th.
Our online shop will open soon, so that T-Shirts can be ordered for collection from the Red Lion Pub or, new this year, by a postal delivery service. BrightFest Branded Pint Cups (reusable and recyclable) can also be ordered from the online shop and collected on the day at BrightFest from a dedicated stall.
Many thanks to all BrightFest Supporters for their understanding and look forward to seeing you at the festival in September.
Every year, BrightFest raises money for local charity and community projects. Entry is by voluntary donations. BrightFest has supported Save The Children, Maeve's Magical Journey, The Brightwell Scout Group and provided funding towards additional children's interactive play equipment at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Recreation Ground.
Bands perform on a professional stage, with lots of activities for the whole family, including a dedicated kids zone, the infamous tug-of-war, football competition, a well-stocked bar and food.
