Welcome to BrightFest!

BrightFest is an annual summer music festival, set in the beautiful village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell in South Oxfordshire.

We hope to see you on 6 June 2026 for a one-off Tribute to BrightFest at The Red Lion Pub, a much smaller version of the BrightFest we all know and love, but still with great music, drinks and food!

Five live bands in the Red Lion Courtyard. Great food & drinks. Proper village atmosphere. 💛

🎧 DJ until midnight
🍔 Pub food + outdoor bar
🧁 Tea & cake at the front of the pub in aid of Save The Children

Please leave your dogs at home, as we expect it to be busy and space is limited. Please no outside food or drink. Children are very welcome, but we would kindly request that they are supervised at all times.

This year is smaller… but it matters more.

We are in urgent need of volunteers and fundraisers. Please contact us if you have time to help us ensure the event can happen!

Support for Charities and Community Projects

BrightFest welcomes donations! We use them to support local charity and community projects. BrightFest has supported Save The Children, Maeve's Magical Journey, The Brightwell Scout Group and provided funding towards additional children's interactive play equipment at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Recreation Ground.

This year we will be raising money to replenish our coffers after the bad weather last year, so BrightFest can return in full force in 2027!
