BrightFest 22 will have similar stage as the last event, way back in 2019. Once again, we will have one with professional sound equipment.
The sound will be managed by an equally professional sound engineer.
To all bands: remember to listen and be really nice to the sound engineer, he can make or break your sound!
This year, we have The M Stage from The Stage Bus for BrightFest 22. The stage area measures 7m x 3.5m.
Guitarists are expected to bring their own guitar amps, which will be mic'd up.
A drum kit will be available, kindly provided by Cliff Rennie from Cutwater. It will be fully mic'd up, but drummers will need to bring their own breakables (drum sticks, snare drum and cymbals).
The bass backline will be Gallien Krueger 1001RB, with 2x12" Neo212 and 1x15" 115RBH cabs, remarkably similar to the rig from Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's Werner's own backline as used in the Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience. The bass rig will be set up on stage right (left for the audience).
Singers may use their own mics if they prefer.
Keyboards will be connected straight into the PA.
To accommodate the very short transition time between bands of 15 minutes, we ask that all bands use the equipment provided.
